Kindly read the VIP Cars rental terms and conditions carefully before booking your Santorini car rental vehicle.
General Santorini Rent a Car Conditions:
|
1 Driver’s Age: Drivers must be at least 21 years old for car categories A, B, and C, and at least 25 years old for all other categories.
2 Driver’s License: Drivers must have an international or domestic driving license for at least one year.
3 Rental Period: The minimum rental period is 1 day (24 hours). Every additional hour is calculated at 1/5 of the daily rental rate.
4 Deposit: a minimum of € 60
5 Traffic Fines: All traffic fines and penalties incurred during the rental period are the responsibility of the renter.
6 Fuel: Unleaded only. Fuel is paid by the renter.
7 Taxes: A local tax – 15% VAT is added on the rental rates.

8 Delivery & Collection: Free throughout the island, by requesting our Santorini Port and Santorini Airport Rent a Car services. Delivery and collection of the rental car can also be made at your hotel. An additional € 15 is charged for Santorini car rental deliveries or collections between 21:00 and 08:00.
9 Availability: Provided according to booking. If a problem arises in the delivery of your requested Santorini car or motorcycle rental, which happens on very rare occasions, we may have to supply a different vehicle.
10 Ferrying off Santorini Island: You are not permitted to take the rental vehicle off the island of Santorini.
11 Motorcycle & Scooter Driver’s License: Drivers must have an international driving license.

Our rates include third party liability coverage and coverage in case of property damage, fire, and theft.
- Death or injury to third parties: up to € 490.000,00
- Material damage to third parties: up to € 100.000,00
Renters can get collision damage waiver (CDW) for damage higher than € 300, by paying a small amount per day:
- Categories A, B, C: € +10, per day
- Categories D, S, L, E, W3, W4, W5, G1, G2, G3, H3: € +15, per day
- Categories W1, W2, N6, G4, H1, H2, H4: € +25, per day
- Renters must abide by the regulations of the Greek Traffic Code.
- Renters are liable for any mechanical damage or damage to the tires, the wheels and the underside of the rental car.
